Anti-static rubber sheets, also known as anti-static table MATS or anti-static rubber sheets, are made from electrostatic conductive materials, electrostatic dissipation materials and synthetic rubber through various processes. The following is an introduction about it:

Structure and Principle

- Structure: Generally, it is a double-layer composite structure, with a common thickness of 2mm. The upper layer is approximately 0.5mm thick as the electrostatic dissipation layer, and the lower layer is approximately 1.5mm thick as the conductive layer.

Principle: By adding anti-static agents and the like to rubber raw materials, static electricity accumulates in the surface dissipation layer and is then released to the grounding device through the conductive layer, thereby achieving the anti-static function.

Product characteristics

The tensile strength is 3.6Mpa, the elongation at break is 188%, and the tear strength (at right angles) is 20.6KN/m. It has certain mechanical strength and flexibility.

The resilience is 14%, the impact embrittlement temperature (without cut) is undamaged at -25℃, and the permanent compression change rate at 70℃×22 hours is 17.9% when compressed at 25%. The performance is relatively stable.

It can withstand temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius and has excellent resistance to acids, alkalis and chemical solvents. It is wear-resistant and easy to clean.

Application field

- Electronics industry: It is used in production workshops and equipment storage racks of microelectronics industries such as electronic semiconductor devices and electronic computers to prevent static electricity from causing damage to electronic components.

- Medical field: It is used in operating rooms to prevent patients from getting injured due to the electrification of instruments such as electrosurgical knives during surgery, and is also used in medical equipment manufacturing workshops, etc.

- Petroleum industry: During the processes of oil and gas extraction, transportation and storage, it can eliminate or reduce the accumulation of static electricity and prevent fire and explosion accidents.

Other fields: such as laboratories, computer rooms, mobile storage cabinets, gas stations and other places that are sensitive to static electricity or have anti-static requirements.

Technical parameters

The surface colors include green, gray, blue, black, etc. The resistance value of the upper layer is 10 to the power of 6 to 9 ohms, and the resistivity of the lower layer is generally 10 to the power of 3 to 6 ohms.

Laying method

After laying it on the desktop or floor, etc., fasten one end of the anti-static grounding wire to the surface of the table mat and connect the other end to the outdoor grounding electrode leading to the ground to discharge static electricity.
